Summer is here

We have been seeing more activity and diversity in the Bee Blocks (and on flowers) during the past two weeks.  I am working on getting some additional information posted.  Now, if you look up above on the black menu bar, you will see two new tabs, one for Insects and one for Nest Plugs.  The Insect tab has some pictures of insects seen at Bee Blocks with identifications on them.  More will come, so keep watch.

When you are out recording data this coming weekend (June 29, 2013), please consider taking some photos of your block in its habitat, any insects you see (ok, spiders too), and nest plugs.  Email the photos to TheBeesNeedsPhotos@colorado.edu.  Please include your block number, tunnel number, and date the photograph was taken.

May your Bee Block be a busy one.
