The Bees’ Needs Presentation with Narration

For those of you that missed our evening presentation at the CU Museum, it’s now online! The sound quality is not so great, but we believe it should be listen-able. Virginia gives lots of great information about the bees and wasps that you may have nesting in your block.

This is a presentation that was given on March 21, 2013 by two researchers from the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History. It covers the biology of some solitary, wood-nesting bees and wasps that are native to the Boulder Colorado region. We also discuss a Citizen Science research project called The Bees’ Needs that is designed to study these important pollinators. Visit our website: http://beesneeds.colorado.edu
